Mini-Dino

My boyfriend, who is from El Salvador and who lived there most of his childhood, claims to have seen a small dinosaur. My boyfriend was about 12 years old at the time when he and many other people from that village spotted the creature. This was around 1990 in a remote rocky place. He said it looked like a miniature T-Rex! He said he was about one foot tall and dark green. He said it was coming toward them and a lady got hysterical and kicked the dino, killing it immediately. My boyfriend said that it seemed to be very weak and fragile. Then everyone gathered around it and stared at it for a while and then just left him there.
Well, yes, it might sound farfetched, I know. I told my boyfriend that he was lying about that story, but his anger and defensiveness made me think otherwise. So I do believe it was totally possible that they did actually spot a small dino in that small remote village in El Salvador.
