Psychic Tunnel?

About one year ago, I started reading stuff on telekinesis. I wanted to see if it was possible to actually move things with my mind. I read lots on it, tried moving things and started meditating. After like a month of this, I was at the store. I've always wandered off, sometimes not telling who I'm with. Well, I wandered off, but I couldn't find my mom. I had gone all the around the store, but didn't see her. Finally, I just stopped suddenly and started thinking, "Find mom... find mom..." I shut my eyes and got an image of my mom talking to my aunt and uncle.
When I opened my eyes, I saw like this energy thing. It was like a tunnel, floated off the floor and was like a mist. I followed it, and at the end of the tunnel thing was my mom, and I saw her talking to my aunt and uncle. It was really weird. Was that a result of meditating? Has this happened to anyone else? Is this some kind of psychic thing?
